Lisbon Vista Village brings together the resources that support the growth of entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations, and educational programs in Encanto. The village reflects our parent company, Bay Vista’s continuous investment in San Diego’s vibrant, diverse, culturally rich neighborhood. Come join our community and become a part of our village.
OUR STORY
Lisbon Vista Village (LVV) was created to support the Encanto community needs by providing health, business, cultural and educational support to local entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and educational opportunities.
For over 50 years Bay Vista, our parent company has built and created family neighborhoods and partnerships that inspire and enable families to leave a legacy for the next generation. In December of 2019, Bay Vista moved back to the neighborhood where it all began with its creation of the Lisbon Vista Village Community Center.
In 2018, Bay Vista created Synergy CoWorks Centre, in the heart of Escondido, to inspire a new business environment dedicated solely to enhancing the San Diego community through the creative collaboration of nonprofit, educational, charitable and entrepreneurial organizations.
Building upon the Synergy CoWorks Centre in Escondido, we’ve expanded our success with Lisbon Vista Village Community Center, establishing Synergy CoWorks Imperial in the LVV building where our focus is to unite resources that support the growth of Encanto to a positive, vibrant, diverse and culturally rich neighborhood, which reflects Bay Vista’s continuous charge to create a better environment for all. OUR PLAN
In December 2019 Bay Vista acquired the commercial building previously known as the Encanto Boys & Girls Club. Renamed Lisbon Vista Village Community Center (LVV), the complex is dedicated to support affordable housing through entrepreneurship, non-profit organizations and educational opportunities. LVV reflects Bay Vista’s passion to investment in Encanto.
Lisbon Vista Village has created opportunities for Encanto residents to “Participate in the Gentrification of their Own Neighborhood.” Reflecting the parent company’s continuous investment in affordable housing, Bay Vista is building Lisbon Vista Heights, a housing development one-mile from LVV and plans to expand LVV’s footprint adding a second and third story, launch a weekly farmers market, create new opportunities for career growth, as well as provide a nurturing environment for youth; all to support the 80 multifamily units which will be constructed on site.
Located within the doors of LVV you may lease an office, reserve a conference room or classroom in Synergy CoWorking Centre-Imperial, learn to code at Creating Code Careers, support youth learning the marching routines of HBCU’s at Heartbeat Music & Performing Arts Academy, immerse yourself in the educational environment at the Entrepreneurial Program or the SOUL Academy, and deliver your little one to child care at Heartbeat or the Boys & Girls Club.
